A Dad Who's Had Enough — And Is Stepping Up

I’m not a politician. I’m a dad who’s seen too much dysfunction and too little common sense from our school board—and I’m running to change that.

My wife and I moved to Sterling to raise our family, like so many others who believed Loudoun County Public Schools would give our kids a great education. But what we found was a system more focused on politics than on students.

When our son started kindergarten, I volunteered in his classroom. What I saw shocked me: an overwhelmed teacher, constant disruptions, and leadership that looked the other way. Good teachers were quitting. Discipline was inconsistent. Even basic things—like working desks—weren’t being taken seriously.
So we found another school. Then we moved to be closer to it. Why? Because we refused to let our kids fall through the cracks.

We’ve stayed involved. I’ve served as a WatchDog Dad, spoken at Career Day, and volunteered my time to help kids stay safe online. My wife’s been active on school committees. We believe in showing up for our kids—and yours.

But our school board has lost its way. It’s become a stage for political agendas instead of a place to make smart decisions for students. Parents are shut down. Debate is silenced. And real leadership is nowhere to be found.

That’s why I’m running for school board as an Independent. Loudoun families deserve schools that are safe, focused on learning, and led by people who care more about kids than ideology.

This isn’t about left or right. It’s about right and wrong. And it’s time we got it right—for all our children.
